Throughout the discussion, we saw a serious tone from Smith and Clark, sympathizing over losing one of the best defenders in the league. Nonetheless, when it was Scott’s turn to speak, he made a shocking remark no one expected to hear. “Like Stephen A. always says, just wait; something bad always happens.” Scott was referring to Smith’s history of trolling Cowboys fans for numerous playoff exists and season losses. However, Smith has never made fun of an athlete getting injured. After Scott’s statement, you can see a visibly demoralized Smith and Clark. Both ensured that this injury was no laughing matter.

NFL Players Respond To Bart Scott

Several NFL players were upset about Scott’s mocking of Digg’s injury. Players like Micah Parsons went on Twitter to post their displeasure.“Wtf ?? He ole hating ass old head!! Lame asf!! This is why I really don’t like talking to dudes in the media!!..”. While Stefon Diggs, Trevon’s older brother responded to Scott with “Bart Scott. Like what did you gain from that? Other than looking like a (clown emoji).”

Scott then took to Twitter and responded to the criticism. “Been called a lot of stuff in my life lame isn’t one of them. Was never joking about an injury. Was speaking of bad luck & how a SB contender loses one of the most important players in their scheme.”
