The Astros are the first team to win the World Series in their home ballpark in about a decade.
The Boston Red Sox won the 2013 World Series at Fenway Park, which also occurred in Game 6.
Astros starting pitcher Framber Valdez picked up the win as he held the Phillies to one run in six innings with nine strikeouts.
The lone blemish in the outing was a home run he surrendered to Kyle Schwarber.
The Astros pitching staff was dynamic in the World Series as they held the Phillies to a .163 batting average, which is the lowest of any team in a World Series of six or more games, worse than the 1911 New York Giants (.175). The Phillies also struck out a record 71 times.

The Astros could be considered a dynasty, as they also won the title in 2017.
The team had endured plenty of roster turnover and controversy since that title.
They had the best record in the American League this season and proved they are the best team in MLB with a second title in six years.

Pena posted a.400 batting average with one home run, three RBIs, five runs scored, and a series-high 10 hits.
He was solid, playing terrific defense at shortstop.
According to Elias Sports Bureau, Pena is the youngest position player to warn this honor.

Pena, who also won ALCS MVP, is the ninth player to win both postseason MVP awards and the first to do so for an AL team.
The Astros are set up for continued success with Pena on their roster.
