For the longest time, we have been waiting for the Washington Football Team to change their name. For the longest time, they were called the Washington Redskins. It was not until owner Daniel Snyder was going to lose billions of dollars for the stadium sponsor that he considered changing the team name. That sponsor was FedEx. Many say that they were not offended by the name but the masses that it bothered made it so that the name had to be changed. I think that Snyder knew he was going to lose a lot of money. So, until that was going to happen, he had no intention of changing the name. After that came the sexual assault allegations throughout the organization. At first, there were no allegations against him but that has all changed. The employees involved have either resigned or have been let go. It is a dumpster fire, and it all starts at the top with Snyder.
The Washington Football Team has been recently renamed the Commanders. It seems that Daniel Snyder thinks he can anything he wants to do. There are now allegations against him for sexually assaulting Tiffani Johnston. Ms. Johnston said that Snyder touched her leg under a table against her will. He also asked her to come back in his limo. This, as you see, is not the way that you treat anyone. Before there was no heat on him, but if the allegations are true, it is time for the NFL to step in. We all know that the 32 owners hired Roger Goodell to run the league. If I were one of the NFL owners and I was seeing that from Snyder I would want him out. If I see what he was getting away with why can’t I as well. Let’s see what happens and if the NFL launches an investigation.
This is the time for the NFL to step in and get Daniel Snyder out. They need to force him to sell the Commanders. It has not been just recently that all of this has been going on. This has been going on for a long time. Before Tiffani Johnston, there was a cheerleader that also said she had issues with Snyder. She said that he had her pose topless for friends of Snyder and if she refused, he would fire her. I also believe the fans of Washington football deserve better. Snyder is not the only bad owner in sports, but we need to try and get them out. We all know people are innocent until proven guilty. I think if the NFL launched an investigation, they could find the proof. The other 31 owners should make him give up his team. Then the Commanders could have an owner they can be proud of.
The NFL is powerful and if they want to stay that way Daniel Snyder must go. These people type of people think they can get away with everything but they cannot. Snyder has been hiding things that are going on that need to finally come out. The Washington Commanders need to get a new owner and a new start. It will help them move forward. The team has looked good on the field the last few years. Outside of the Dallas Cowboys the Commanders could have a shot at winning the division. Ron Rivera is the right man for the job and now it’s time to clean house in ownership and upper management. Hey, Roger Goodell, it’s time for you to wake up and do something about Daniel Snyder.
