Texas Southern head football coach Clarence McKinney added six student-athletes to its 2022 recruiting class on Wednesday during the first day of the early signing period.
With the foundation in place after playing the 2021 season with a total of 58 freshmen and sophomores, the Tigers went for immediate needs. Four of the six signees are projected to play defense while the team also added a quarterback and a long snapper as three states are represented in Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi.
The Texas Southern Tigers will continue to add student-athletes in anticipation of the February signing period in 2022.
