North Shore Navigators: Baseball is Back at Fraser Field

On behalf of the North Shore Navigators of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL), I am proud to share some exciting news: Baseball is back.

For those who are not familiar with the Navigators, let me introduce you to our organization. The Navigators play at historic Fraser Field of Lynn, which has been home to many baseball greats including Tony Conigliaro and Harry Agganis. Over the years, the organization has transitioned from a professional team to a summer collegiate team and we are as excited as ever for this year’s roster.

This year’s team includes all local talent that either live or go to college in the Boston area. In addition to at least ten former Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic Selections, this year’s roster is also packed with Division 1 talent including two All-Americans and many potential 2021 MLB draftees, including Lexington native and BC star, Sal Frelick.

I know this group usually covers the MLB, and more specifically the Red Sox, but with the uncertainty of professional baseball, we want to provide you an opportunity to watch some of tomorrow’s stars play in a competitive setting. The players of the FCBL are following the dream of any baseball player – to make it to the show. We are proud to be a local team that helps in this process.
