Sammy Sportface has announced he’s quitting his leadership of the Baby Boomer Brotherhood to manage the ascendency of the Boy Band Crash Adams.
“What the world needs now is more Boy Bands singing songs conveying a more positive message,” said Sportface in a blog. “The Crash Adams mission is to elevate peoples’ vibrations, and I can’t let the opportunity pass to help promote this vitally important message that this world so desperately needs.”
Sportface was seen just now typing this blog on a flight to Toronto, Canada to meet with the lead singer, Crash, and lead guitarist, Adams, at their music studio.
Sportface plans to crash in on Crash and Adams unannounced and introduce himself as their biggest fan and their new publicist who will take this band to higher levels than it has already achieved, catapulted by hit songs “Give Me a Kiss” and “Optimist.”
“For decades we’ve been listening to Boy Bands and others sing about how life blows,” said Sportface. “Crash Adams has taken the opposite approach with their music. They’re all about spreading good vibes all around to everyone they meet. Sammy Sportface has been trying to do exactly this with his blog venture but no one has caught his vibrations. No one’s feeling elevated. So I figured I’d piggyback on the momentum of this Boy Band and we could double down as a team on our goals to inspire people everywhere. You know, feed off each other.”
Upon arrival at the music studio, Sportface introduced himself to Crash and Adams.
“So you’re Sammy Sportface?” said Crash. “We noticed you’ve been blogging about us non-stop the past few days. But you don’t have many followers. We’re not sure working with you would elevate anyone’s vibrations.”
Sportface countered:
“But I know Rudy,” he said. “I love Boy Band music. I love the Pointer Sisters and ‘He’s So Shy.’ I’m your biggest fan.”
“Sorry Sportface,” said Crash. “You’re not the kind of vibration elevator we have in mind. You’re kind of negative about Wake Forest football and that’s not what we’re all about. But nice try.”
As an olive branch before escorting him away, Crash and Adams said they would play for Sportface another one of their new hit songs: “Good Side.”
With one stipulation: Sportface had to agree to write a blog about how great a song “Good Side” is.
“All in on that, Crash,” said Sammy. “I’ll be writing about you guys in 2025 more than I wrote about Caitlin Clark in 2024. The Baby Boomer Brotherhood can’t get enough of you guys.”
