#AEHoops 2021-2022 College Scheduled Announced

BOSTON – #AEHoops season is just around the corner as America East announced its men’s and women’s conference basketball schedules for the 2021-22 season on Wednesday morning.

The slates will consist of 90 conference games on each side, all of which will air on ESPN networks as part of the AE on ESPN. Each team will play an 18-game, double round-robin schedule with the majority of games taking place on Wednesdays and Saturdays each week.

Action begins on Dec. 30 with women’s conference play kicking off, while the men begin on Jan. 2. All winter long, teams will vie for positioning and potential home-court advantage for the 2022 #AEPlayoffs, during which once again all games will be played at the higher seed. The women wrap up their regular season on Feb. 27 while the men conclude on March 1.

The top eight teams in both sets of standings will qualify for the playoffs. The women’s playoff dates are: Quarterfinals: Wednesday, March 2; Semifinals: Sunday, March 6; Final: Friday, March 11. The men’s playoff dates are: Quarterfinals: Saturday, March 5; Semifinals: Tuesday, March 9; Final: Saturday, March 12.
