Open your minds, Baby Boomer Brothers. Embrace the nourishing spiritual powers of Tony Robbins. Now a star basketball player for the Iowa Hawkeyes, Tony’s a national player of the year candidate. His team will cut down the nets on Monday night in April.
Playing the center position, Tony plays rough inside the paint. To him, basketball equals Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots. He looks like Lurch.
And he knows how to motivate curmudgeonly skeptics like you. This dude ain’t no fraud. This dude balls.
When the March Madness tourney kicks off, check out the celebrity inspirational gurus that go to his games. You’ll see Deepak Chopra and Wayne Dyer in the stands. Both, like Tony, are world-leading inspirational gurus. They write New York Times best-sellers.
Stadium officials will be giving out free copies of “The Power of Positive Thinking” by Norman Vincent Peale.
Tune in for the sideshows at Iowa games. At half-time, Tony will show us all how to walk in bare feet on fire. Then Deepak and Wayne will follow him. Tony will then show us the “woosh” technique. For this, which he taught to Byron Scott, he says to himself right before he shoots “whoosh.” The shot goes in every time.
“March Madness is a great platform for promoting my mental tricks,” says Tony. “I figure if I promote my tricks during the games, I’ll get hundreds of thousands more people to attend my $800,000 a head weekend seminars in New Zealand.”
CBS supports Robbins promoting his inspirational business during the tournament.
“We know people aren’t as tuned into March Madness this year as in previous years,” said Peter Promotions of CBS Sports. “The Tony Robbins angle is weird and different. We think more eyeballs will go to the TV sets if Tony does his walk on fire and whoosh thing.”
After each game, Tony will also give inspirational speeches to the CBS national TV audience. His ghostwriter is Sammy Sportface.
