CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced kickoff times and television network information for the first three weeks of the 2017 football season Wednesday.

Boston College opens the 2017 season on Friday, Sept. 1 at Northern Illinois. Kickoff is set for 9:30 p.m. ET with national television coverage on CBS Sports Network. Boston College is 2-0 all-time against NIU, including a 17-14 win at home over the Huskies in 2015.

BC’s 2017 home schedule begins with a conference game against Wake Forest on Saturday, Sept. 9. Kickoff from Alumni Stadium is set for 1 p.m. with live coverage on ACC Network Extra. The Eagles are 13-9-2 all-time against the Demon Deacons after last year’s 17-14 victory at Wake Forest to secure bowl eligibility for the Eagles.

Old rivals meet on Saturday, Sept. 16 at Alumni Stadium as Notre Dame ventures to Chestnut Hill. Kickoff is set for noon with live national television coverage on ABC or ESPN.

The Fighting Irish lead the all-time series 14-9 as the two teams square off for the first time since Notre Dame’s 19-16 win over the Eagles at Fenway Park in 2015. BC will look for its first win at home against Notre Dame since a 17-0 victory in 2008 at Alumni Stadium.

In addition to the release of the first three weeks of kickoff times and television coverage, the ACC also announced that the Oct. 27 Friday night home game against Florida State will kickoff at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
