WWE Crown Jewel 2026 delivered championship changes, emotional moments, and a shocking Money in the Bank cash-in. The premium live event took place Saturday, November 7, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn headlined the event, renewing their complicated history. Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton settled their rivalry in a brutal Last Man Standing Match.
However, Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton provided arguably the biggest surprise of the afternoon. The event also featured new World Tag Team Champions and several memorable moments. With Survivor Series approaching, Crown Jewel created new opportunities and questions across WWE’s biggest storylines.
Cody Rhodes Survives Randy Orton in Brutal Last Man Standing Match
Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton brought their heated rivalry into one of wrestling’s most unforgiving match types. Both competitors needed to keep their opponent down for a ten-count to secure victory. Orton controlled several stretches of the contest, using his experience and ruthless aggression against Rhodes. The Viper powerbombed Rhodes through a table and repeatedly punished him outside the ring. However, Rhodes refused to surrender and answered with several impressive offensive combinations. He even delivered Orton’s signature draping DDT, showing his willingness to fight fire with fire.
Orton connected with an RKO, but Rhodes survived another dangerous moment. Later, Rhodes climbed a ladder and attempted a splash through the announce table. Unfortunately for Rhodes, Orton moved, sending him crashing through the table instead. Nevertheless, Rhodes recovered and delivered multiple Cross Rhodes to weaken his former mentor. He eventually connected with Orton’s devastating Punt Kick, leaving The Viper unable to answer the referee’s count. Rhodes secured the victory, ending an exhausting battle between two former allies. The finish also demonstrated how far Rhodes would go to defeat someone who once helped shape his career.
Penta and Je’Von Evans Capture World Tag Team Championships
The World Tag Team Championship match featured Bron Breakker and Austin Theory defending against Penta and Je’Von Evans. Breakker and Theory entered with a physical advantage, but their challengers brought remarkable speed and athleticism. Evans impressed throughout the contest, attacking Theory with explosive offense. Meanwhile, Penta showcased his high-flying abilities against the defending champions. However, interference threatened to derail the challengers’ championship opportunity.
Maxxine Dupri helped Theory, while Bronson Reed attacked Penta and Evans during a referee distraction. The Vision appeared ready to retain their championships after connecting with a devastating double-team maneuver. Then, Oba Femi arrived and changed the match’s direction. Femi attacked Reed and sent him crashing through a table near the stage. His involvement eliminated a significant obstacle for the challengers. Back inside the ring, Evans connected with his spectacular OG Cutter against Theory.
The move secured the three-count and crowned Penta and Evans the new World Tag Team Champions. Their victory represents a significant breakthrough for both competitors. Additionally, the result raises questions about The Vision’s future following another confrontation involving Oba Femi.
Chelsea Green Shocks Liv Morgan to Win Crown Jewel Championship
Chelsea Green entered her championship encounter against Liv Morgan with something to prove. Morgan carried herself confidently throughout the match, frequently disrespecting Green while controlling the action. However, Green refused to let Morgan’s attitude dictate the outcome. Both competitors exchanged impressive offensive combinations, including Codebreakers, suplexes, and near falls.
Green eventually connected with her UnprettiHER finisher, but Morgan reached the ropes to prevent the pinfall. Meanwhile, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez arrived at ringside, creating another distraction for Green. Morgan attempted to capitalize on the interference and finish the match with Oblivion. Instead, Green countered the maneuver into a rollup and secured the surprising three-count. The victory gave Green the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship and one of her career’s biggest accomplishments. Afterward, Green celebrated her journey and reflected on the years she spent fighting for recognition. Unfortunately, her celebration would not last long.
Tiffany Stratton Cashes In and Steals Chelsea Green’s Championship
Just when Chelsea Green appeared ready to celebrate her achievement, Liv Morgan attacked her from behind. Then, Tiffany Stratton arrived with her Money in the Bank briefcase. Stratton initially attacked Morgan before turning her attention toward Green. She officially cashed in her contract for an immediate WWE Women’s Championship opportunity. Green had already endured a difficult match against Morgan and faced an enormous disadvantage. Stratton wasted little time capitalizing on the situation.
She connected with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever and pinned Green to capture the WWE Women’s Championship. The shocking development gave Stratton another major championship accomplishment. However, Green experienced both the highest and lowest moments of her afternoon within minutes. She won the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship before losing her WWE Women’s Championship to Stratton. Additionally, Stratton’s victory dramatically changes the women’s championship picture heading toward Survivor Series. Green now faces the challenge of recovering from a devastating championship loss. Meanwhile, Stratton begins another reign with considerable momentum.
Roman Reigns Defeats Sami Zayn in Emotional Main Event
The main event featured World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns against Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn. Their history within The Bloodline added considerable emotion to an already important championship encounter. Zayn entered determined to prove he could finally overcome his former leader. Meanwhile, Reigns wanted to reinforce his position among WWE’s most dominant competitors. The match began with both competitors exchanging physical offense and attempting to establish control.
Reigns used his strength to punish Zayn, but the Undisputed WWE Champion refused to back down. Zayn attacked Reigns around ringside and repeatedly sent him into the barricade. However, Reigns ultimately prevailed and captured the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship. The victory strengthened Reigns’ standing while extending Zayn’s frustration against his former Bloodline leader. Nevertheless, the biggest moment came after the match. Zayn approached Reigns and offered his hand, hoping to demonstrate mutual respect.

Reigns initially rejected the handshake, creating another tense moment between the former allies. Then, Reigns surprised everyone by embracing Zayn. He also raised Zayn’s hand, acknowledging his former stablemate before accepting his Crown Jewel championship honors. The emotional exchange provided a memorable conclusion to their latest chapter. Finally, Reigns addressed the audience and demanded that Saudi Arabia acknowledge him.
WWE Crown Jewel 2026 Sets the Stage for Survivor Series
Crown Jewel accomplished several important things while delivering memorable championship moments. Rhodes survived a punishing encounter against Orton, while Penta and Evans captured tag team gold. Meanwhile, Chelsea Green defeated Liv Morgan before Tiffany Stratton dramatically changed the women’s championship landscape. However, Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn provided the emotional conclusion that defined the main event.
Their postmatch embrace demonstrated that their complicated history still carries considerable significance. Additionally, Oba Femi’s confrontation with Bronson Reed could create another major rivalry heading into WWE’s next premium live event. Stratton’s championship victory also creates intriguing possibilities for SmackDown’s women’s division. Ultimately, WWE delivered an event featuring meaningful victories, championship changes, and developments that could influence several upcoming storylines.
With Survivor Series: WarGames approaching, the company has several directions to explore. The biggest question now concerns which rivalries will intensify and which superstars will emerge as championship contenders. Crown Jewel answered several questions, but it also created plenty of new ones. For WWE fans, those developments should make the road toward Survivor Series particularly interesting.
