WWE Monday Night Raw delivered championship drama, major announcements, and a shocking ending on November 2, 2026. The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, hosted the final Raw before WWE Crown Jewel. Roman Reigns confronted Sami Zayn, while John Cena returned with several announcements about WWE’s future. Meanwhile, Ethan Page captured championship gold, and The Judgment Day gained momentum before Crown Jewel. However, the biggest surprise came during the closing moments. A new member joined the 946 and helped dismantle The Bloodline. With Crown Jewel approaching on November 7, WWE gave fans plenty of reasons to anticipate Saturday’s premium live event.
Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn Exchange Heated Words
World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns opened Raw by addressing several problems surrounding The Bloodline. Reigns acknowledged the 946 but dismissed the faction as a serious threat. However, Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn interrupted Reigns before their champion-versus-champion encounter at Crown Jewel. Zayn questioned why Reigns continued focusing on the 946 instead of their upcoming championship showdown. The confrontation quickly became personal as both superstars revisited their complicated Bloodline history. Reigns reminded Zayn about his opportunities during their time together. He argued that Zayn benefited tremendously from his association with The Bloodline. Furthermore, Reigns suggested Zayn might have disappeared from WWE without his support. Zayn refused to accept those comments and demanded Reigns’ complete attention. However, Reigns responded by telling Zayn he should thank him. Their confrontation added another emotional chapter to an already complicated rivalry.
Ethan Page Shocks Chad Gable to Win Intercontinental Championship
The evening’s first championship match featured Chad Gable defending the Intercontinental Championship against Ethan Page. Both competitors showcased their technical wrestling abilities throughout an intense contest. However, Page concentrated his offense on Gable’s injured neck and shoulder. Gable countered by attacking Page’s knee and attempting to weaken his opponent’s mobility. He connected with a Dragon Screw and later applied his dangerous Ankle Lock. Additionally, Gable delivered an Angle Slam onto the announce table, putting Page in serious trouble. Gable eventually connected with Chaos Theory, seemingly positioning himself for victory. Unfortunately, his injured neck prevented him from maintaining the bridging pin. Page capitalized with a Twisted Grin before exposing another weakness in Gable’s defense. He sent Gable crashing into an exposed turnbuckle before delivering an Egoplex for the victory. The shocking result crowned Ethan Page as the new Intercontinental Champion. Meanwhile, Gable must regroup after losing his championship in heartbreaking fashion.
The Judgment Day Defeats Chelsea Green, IYO SKY, and Tiffany Stratton
Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan joined Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez against Chelsea Green, IYO SKY, and Tiffany Stratton. The six-woman tag team match featured several established stars and continued building excitement for Crown Jewel. Morgan and Green entered the contest with their upcoming championship showdown already creating considerable tension. Throughout the match, both teams exchanged offense while attempting to establish control. However, the closing sequence ultimately favored The Judgment Day. Green became distracted while attacking Roxanne Perez instead of concentrating on Morgan. Morgan immediately recognized the opportunity and connected with Oblivion to secure the pinfall over Green. The victory gave Morgan significant momentum heading into Crown Jewel. More importantly, she pinned the WWE Women’s Champion just days before their anticipated showdown. Meanwhile, Green must address her costly mistake before facing Morgan again.
John Cena Returns with Major WWE Announcements
One of the evening’s biggest attractions featured the return of 17-time world champion John Cena. Although Cena retired from in-ring competition in December 2025, his appearance generated considerable excitement throughout Brooklyn. Cena revealed several major developments involving WWE’s December programming. First, he announced that December 14 would feature two editions of Monday Night Raw. One show will originate from Perth, Australia, while another will take place at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Furthermore, Cena announced the John Cena Classic, a special tournament featuring its own championship. The Disney World event will showcase the tournament and introduce the John Cena Classic Championship. Cena also revealed Cody Rhodes as the tournament’s first invited competitor. His announcements provided WWE fans with another major event to anticipate beyond Crown Jewel. Additionally, Cena’s involvement demonstrated his continued connection with WWE following his retirement.

Randy Orton Delivers Personal Warning to Cody Rhodes
Cena’s announcement eventually brought Cody Rhodes into the spotlight. However, Randy Orton confronted Rhodes and shifted attention toward their upcoming Last Man Standing Match at Crown Jewel. The confrontation quickly turned personal when Orton referenced Rhodes’ legendary father, Dusty Rhodes. Orton reminded Cody about his role in ending Dusty’s wrestling career. He then threatened to destroy Cody’s ambitions during their upcoming encounter. The comments added another emotional dimension to an already dangerous rivalry. Rhodes must now prepare for an opponent who understands his history and knows how to exploit personal vulnerabilities. Meanwhile, Orton appeared determined to use psychological warfare before their physical confrontation. Their Last Man Standing Match promises a brutal encounter because neither competitor can win through a traditional pinfall. Instead, one wrestler must incapacitate the other long enough to prevent him from answering the referee’s ten-count.
The Vision Defeats Penta, Je’Von Evans, and Dragon Lee
Six-man tag team action featured The Vision against Penta, Je’Von Evans, and Dragon Lee. Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Austin Theory represented The Vision during another important faction encounter. The contest featured contrasting styles, with The Vision emphasizing power against their opponents’ speed and aerial offense. Logan Paul attempted to influence the outcome from ringside. However, Penta initially prevented Paul from interfering before Bronson Reed attacked him. Reed followed with a devastating Death Valley Driver against Dragon Lee. Meanwhile, Evans displayed his athleticism with an impressive plancha that temporarily disrupted The Vision’s momentum. Unfortunately, Evans eventually encountered Bron Breakker’s explosive power. Breakker intercepted Evans in midair and delivered a crushing Spear to secure the victory. The result strengthened The Vision’s position while creating additional problems for Penta and his partners. Furthermore, Paul’s involvement added another complication surrounding Penta’s Money in the Bank briefcase.
Jade Cargill and The Baddies Attack Bayley
Raw also featured another developing rivalry involving Bayley and Jade Cargill’s faction, The Baddies. Earlier in the evening, Bayley encountered the group while speaking with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. The confrontation created tension that eventually escalated backstage. Later, during an interview involving Liv Morgan and The Judgment Day, attention shifted toward another developing situation. Cargill and The Baddies attacked Bayley, leaving her overwhelmed by their numerical advantage. The assault demonstrated the faction’s willingness to use intimidation against established WWE competitors. Meanwhile, Bayley now faces another difficult challenge as tensions continue escalating throughout the women’s division. The attack also provided another storyline for WWE to develop beyond Crown Jewel.
Royce Keys and Solo Sikoa Ignite Bloodline Warfare
The night’s final match featured Royce Keys battling Solo Sikoa in another chapter of The Bloodline’s conflict with the 946. Keys immediately demonstrated his striking ability with powerful punches and kicks. Meanwhile, Sikoa attempted to establish control through his physical offense. Keys nearly secured victory with a snap powerslam before Sikoa mounted a comeback. Sikoa eventually connected with a hip attack, but the contest quickly descended into chaos. Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, and Carmelo Hayes entered the ring and attacked Sikoa. Their interference prevented the match from reaching a decisive competitive conclusion. Roman Reigns and The Usos immediately rushed toward the ring to support Sikoa. Both factions exchanged blows as the confrontation intensified. Initially, Reigns helped The Bloodline regain control. However, another unexpected development completely changed the situation.
Cruz Montana Joins The 946 in Shocking Ending
Just when The Bloodline appeared ready to dominate, a mysterious masked attacker entered the confrontation. The newcomer struck Roman Reigns with a steel chair and immediately changed the momentum. The attacker eventually revealed himself as NXT superstar Cruz Montana. Montana aligned himself with the 946, giving Royce Keys another dangerous ally. The faction continued attacking The Bloodline as Reigns struggled to recover. During the chaos, Montana delivered a devastating crucifix powerbomb that sent Jey Uso through the commentary table. The attack demonstrated how much danger
The Bloodline now faces from its expanding opposition. However, the night’s final surprise involved Sami Zayn. The Undisputed WWE Champion entered the ring and delivered a Helluva Kick to Roman Reigns. Zayn stood tall after taking advantage of Reigns’ vulnerable position. The closing sequence left The Bloodline devastated and created even greater anticipation for Crown Jewel. Furthermore, Montana’s arrival significantly strengthened the 946 and introduced another potential threat to Reigns’ leadership.
Final Thoughts: Crown Jewel Cannot Come Soon Enough
Monday Night Raw delivered several important developments heading into WWE Crown Jewel. Ethan Page captured the Intercontinental Championship, while Liv Morgan secured an important victory against Chelsea Green. Meanwhile, The Vision continued establishing dominance through another impressive six-man tag team victory. John Cena’s announcement introduced an exciting tournament and revealed significant plans for December. Additionally, Randy Orton intensified his rivalry with Cody Rhodes through another deeply personal confrontation. However, Roman Reigns experienced the most disastrous evening. The World Heavyweight Champion entered Raw determined to dismiss the 946 and confront Sami Zayn. Instead, he watched another superstar join his enemies before suffering a devastating attack.
Zayn then delivered the final blow, giving himself considerable momentum before their championship showdown. WWE successfully advanced several rivalries while introducing new questions about The Bloodline’s future. With Crown Jewel approaching, Reigns must recover quickly from one of his most difficult nights. The biggest question now surrounds Roman Reigns: Can he overcome Sami Zayn while the 946 continues threatening his family? November 2 delivered a chaotic final Raw before Crown Jewel, setting the stage for another eventful weekend.
