
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Four members of the 2024 Boston College football team officially received invitations to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine on Thursday. It marks the most BC invitees since a school-record seven Eagles went to the Combine in 2019.
Defensive end Donovan Ezeiruaku (Williamstown, N.J.), defensive tackle Cameron Horsley (Riverton, N.J.), and offensive linemen Drew Kendall (Norwell, Mass.) and Ozzy Trapilo (Norwell, Mass.) were all invited to represent BC ahead of April’s NFL Draft.
The NFL Combine will be held Feb. 24 through March 3 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. A total of 329 prospects were sent invitations from the league. Live coverage of the Combine will air on NFL Network beginning Feb. 27.
Ezeiruaku, the 13th Consensus First-Team All-American in program history, was an All-America first-team selection by the AFCA, Associated Press, and Sporting News. Additionally, the ACC Defensive Player of the Year was a second-team All-American by Walter Camp. Ezeiruaku led all of FBS in sacks per game at 1.38 and was first in the nation in total sacks in the regular season with 16.5; which tied the BC single-season record.
Horsley capped off his fifth season at BC as an ALl-ACC Third Team pick. The anchor in the middle of the Eagles’ defensive line, he played in 59 career games with 47 starts and missed just one regular season game in his five years at BC. Horsley totaled 42 tackles, seven tackles for loss, three pass breakups, and three quarterback hurries in 2024.
Kendall earned his first career All-ACC award in 2024 as the league’s first-team center. The 2022 Freshman All-American, started all 13 games this season and finished his career having started 30 consecutive games.
Trapilo picked up All-ACC Second Team honors in 2023 and First Team honors in 2024. He started 36 games at right tackle or left tackle in 46 career games played. He boasted a team-best 80.5 pass block rating from PFF this season.
Ezeiruaku and Trapilo both participated in the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala. in January, while Horsley and Kendall both played in the East-West Shrine Bowl at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The date of Boston College’s annual NFL Pro Day will be released at a later date.
