The two most over-hyped college football teams in America, Wake Forest and the University of Colorado, both remained unbeaten yesterday extending their records to three wins and no losses.
College football oddsmakers are now predicting these two over-exposed and unfathomably provocative football teams will play for the national championship in January.
Wake Forest has become a household name across the country because of the excessive amount of bloviating but well-researched blogs written about them by a deepfake sports blogger named Sammy Sportface. Colorado is the other talk of college football because Coach Prime wears sunglasses inside, and multiple strands of gold jewelry, and makes his players believe they’re going to the title game and will win it.
Coach Prime says he’s concerned about playing Wake Forest for the championship because the hype surrounding Sammy Sportface may exceed his own – and if there’s anything he can’t tolerate it’s someone grabbing more attention than him.
Wake Forest will have to beat Georgia Tech next week to move to 4 and 0, and eventually prevail over Duke, Clemson in Death Valley, and Florida State, while its fans will have to keep contending with the avalanche of sports blogs about the team by Sportface. Colorado will be tested on Saturday against Oregon and then USC.
The College Football Committee is eager for these two teams to end up in the game because, based on its predictive analytics this match-up will attract the most eyeballs to screens.
“Nothing would be more compelling than Coach Prime and Sammy Sportface ending up on the biggest stage in college football,” the committee wrote in a prepared statement. “Through the first three weeks of the season and continuing until the final game, Coach Prime along with Colorado and Sportface and his squad, Wake Forest, will be THE STORIES in college football. What a refreshing match-up of two schools that have nothing in common and two charismatic leaders both of whom are compelling while being, at the same time, misunderstood and doubted.”
