CHESTNUT HILL, Mass – Jaeden Zackery scored a team-high 14 points, leading four Eagles in double figures as the Boston College Eagles fell, 74-71, in overtime to New Hampshire on Tuesday night at Conte Forum.
It was a back-and-forth affair throughout the entirety of the game, totaling 17 lead changes and 17 ties. DeMarr Langford Jr., Prince Aligbe, and Devin McGlockton each chipped in 10 points for the Eagles. T.J. Bickerstaff finished with nine points and 10 boards.
UNH went on a run to open the second half, earning their largest lead of the night at 52-43 with 12:43 left in regulation. DeMarr Langford Jr. sparked an Eagles response, scoring eight of BC’s 10-3 run to cut the lead to two with 7:52 remaining.
After tying the game at 64 with a last-second three, UNH closed out overtime on an 8-0 run.
The Eagles are back in action on December 10 when they travel to Newark, N.J. to take on Villanova in the Never Forget Classic. The game will be broadcasted live on Fox at 5:00 p.m.
