CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Five Boston College baseball games have been picked up for national broadcasts on ACC Network as announced by ESPN on Wednesday. The Eagles’ first appearance on ACCN this season will be during its ACC-opening weekend at Miami on March 12.
The remaining four nationally-televised games will take place at home. BC hosts Wake Forest (April 3), Connecticut (April 20), Virginia Tech (April 23) and Florida State (May 7) on ACC Network. All four opponents make their first appearance at the Harrington Athletics Village since its inaugural season of 2018.
Boston College’s first home ACC series of the season against Louisville (March 25-27) will be streamed on ACCNX as well as its first scheduled midweek game against Merrimack (March 30). Additional home broadcast selections and road series streamed on ACCNX will be announced at a later date.
ACCN will exclusively feature the semifinals of the ACC Baseball Championship on May 28 live from BB&T Ballpark in Charlotte. ESPN2 will cover the ACC Baseball Championship Game on Sunday, May 29.
Carriage agreements for ACC Network are in place for Comcast Xfinity, Cox, DIRECTV, DISH Network, Frontier, fuboTV, Google Fiber, Hulu+ Live TV, Mediacom, Optimum, Sling TV, Spectrum TV, Suddenlink, Verizon Fios, and YouTube TV among others.
The Eagles’ season opener is Friday, Feb. 18 at Austin Peay.
