LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell baseball team has released the 2022 spring schedule, as announced by head coach Ken Harring.

The River Hawks open the new campaign with a trip to New Orleans on February 18 to take on Tulane in a three-game series. The team then travels to North Carolina to play North Carolina A&T at the end of February.

March begins with the Wake Forest Tournament in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to play Wake Forest and Central Michigan. The team then heads to Durham, NC for two games against Duke. Rounding out the trip down south, the River Hawks take on College of Charleston in a three-game series in Charleston, South Carolina.

Conference play begins on March 18, when the River Hawks travel to Stony Brook for a weekend series. Following the trip to Long Island, UMass Lowell will take on Holy Cross on March 23. The home opener for the River Hawks is slated for Friday, March 25, as UMass Lowell welcomes Binghamton for a weekend series.

The month of April is packed with action, as the River Hawks visit conference foe NJIT before hosting Dartmouth, UMBC, and Merrimack in the opening weeks of the month. In-state rival Massachusetts will host UMass Lowell on April 13, before a return home to host a weekend series against Hartford. Non-conference games against Rhode Island, Harvard, and Boston College, as well as conference games against Maine and UAlbany, close out the April slate.

The final month of the season sees the River Hawks at home three more times, with the finale of the UAlbany series scheduled for May 1. UMass Lowell will host Maine on May 6-8 before traveling to Hartford for three games. The home finale will be played on May 17, as the River Hawks host Northeastern. To wrap up the regular season, UMass Lowell will visit UAlbany from May 19 to May 21.

America East playoffs are scheduled for May 25-28 and will be played in Orono, at the University of Maine.
