CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College and the ACC released its conference schedule for the 2021 baseball season, which features 12 ACC weekends beginning Feb. 26-28 when the Eagles visit Duke. BC plays six road series and six home series with its ACC home-opening weekend set for March 19-21 vs. North Carolina.
Game times and television selections will be released at a later date.
Following their weekend at Duke, the Eagles go back on the road at Wake Forest (March 5-7) and Louisville (March 12-14). The home slate continues with Clemson (March 26-28) visiting the Harrington Athletics Village after the home series against UNC.
Easter weekend features a Thursday-opener for a series at Virginia Tech (April 1-3) before BC returns home to take on North Carolina State (April 9-11). A trip to Florida State (April 16-18) precedes back-to-back home weekends against Notre Dame (April 23-25) and Miami (April 30-May 2).
The final road series of the season takes place at Pittsburgh (May 7-9) followed by the final weekend of the season at home against Virginia (May 20-22).
Schedule Notes: 36 conference games and 18 home ACC games are both the most in league and program history… BC plays Duke for its league-opener for the second time and first time since 2007; a series sweep by the Eagles… Miami, UNC, and Virginia will all make their Harrington Athletics Village debuts in 2021… BC makes its first trip to Pittsburgh since 2016; its only visit to the Steel City since the two sides were in the Big East.
