Tony Robbins has become one of the world’s great inspirational gurus. Traveling the world giving 92-hour weekend mentally uplifting retreats, Robbins has taught people to walk on fire and become much bigger human beings and accomplish much more than they ever could have. All because of Tony’s time-honored, actionable, and effective mind-altering motivational tips and techniques.
Now Robbins is taking his remarkable mental and physical skills to another level. He’s leading the Iowa men’s basketball team to a #3 ranking and undefeated start including a head-turning whooping of the blue bloods from the University of North Carolina.
In Friday’s smoking of Iowa State, the reigning Big 10 Player of the Year scored 34 points in less than 20 minutes. Mark that down as the highest total for someone who played in a game for less than 20 minutes in 25 years, according to the Sammy Sportface Syndicated Network.
Robbins says the key to his success has been re-reading this year all the best-selling books he’s written over the years including Think and Grow Rich, Personal Power, Self Discipline: The Spartan Way to Mastering Self, Unleash the Power Within, Awaken the Giant, and Shoot Your Shot.
“I think all the 92-hour seminars I’ve held around the world have also given me the stamina to hold up strong for a 40-minute college basketball game,” said Robbins. “Before each game, I give my team a pep talk. We walk on fire and do some mental exercises to get ourselves in a peak state so we can envision ourselves going out on the court with peak play.”
Robbins also says he’s playing great this year because of his recent indoctrination into the mentality of the Sammy Sportface Baby Boomer Brotherhood Facebook Page.
“The value-add thing about Sportface, beyond all the inspirational content, is that he really knows basketball and starred in the McDonalds Capital Classic,” says Robbins. “He’s got it all going on, the credibility of a legit hooper, the motivational and inspirational content his readers crave, the controversial Harry High School stories of glory and infamy, and the Brett Favre trysts with Danica Patrick. I mean, I would have to say that besides me Sportface is the greatest inspirational guru in America.”
