As the college football season moves toward crowning a national champion, another essential postseason ritual is about to begin. All-star games provide players from across the country a vital opportunity to be evaluated by professional scouts ahead of the April NFL Draft. This year, the Boston College Eagles football program will be well-represented in this high-stakes environment.
Lewis Bond: The Record-Breaker
Wide receiver Lewis Bond has officially accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Bond’s 2025 campaign was nothing short of historic for the Eagles.
Starting all 12 games, Bond served as the engine of the BC offense, recording 88 receptions for 993 yards and a touchdown. With those numbers, Bond cemented his legacy as the all-time leader in receptions in Boston College history, eclipsing the record previously held by current Baltimore Ravens star Zay Flowers.
2025 National Rankings:
- 4th in the nation in receptions per game (7.3)
- 17th in the nation in receiving yards per game (82.8)
- All-ACC Second Team selection
Bond’s 2025 catches and yardage totals both represent career highs. He concludes his tenure at the Heights with 2,385 career receiving yards, ranking fifth in school history.
Jude Bowry: Anchoring the Line
Joining Bond in Mobile is offensive lineman Jude Bowry, who also accepted an invite to the Senior Bowl. Voted a team captain before the season began, Bowry was the veteran leader of a front five that was often dominant in the trenches.
Starting nine games at left tackle, Bowry anchored a unit that facilitated two games of over 500 yards of total offense:
- August 30 vs. Fordham: 555 yards
- November 15 vs. Georgia Tech: 500+ yards
Bowry was also instrumental in high-scoring road performances at Michigan State (457 yards) and in the season finale at Syracuse, where the Eagles racked up 433 total yards, including 137 on the ground.
Scout’s Profile: Jude Bowry
- Height: 6’5″
- Weight: 311 lbs
- Experience: 31 career games (23 starts)
Scouts are expected to pay close attention to Bowry’s frame and mobility at the left tackle position. His consistent performance against ACC competition has made him one of the most intriguing line prospects in the 2026 draft class.
