Madden Ultimate Team has many frustrating moments. From terrible pack odds to cheaters (or cheesers, depending on what term you’d rather use) using toxic mud blitz packages to ruin the game completely, it hasn’t been a particularly kind year of Ultimate Team.
This method may seem like a different kind of cheating. However, this is to counter things like mid blitz. In the last month, running the football became the key to winning once again. However, you need to choose the right running back with the right offensive lineman, wide receivers, and tight ends to effectively run the football in the last two months of Madden Ultimate Team 25.
For example, I have out-of-position golden ticket running back Myles Garrett (Browns superstar defensive end). I also have a golden ticket out-of-position fullback, Dewand Jones (Browns offensive lineman), with the Vanguard ability. My number one wide receiver is out of position, Golden Ticket Joe Thomas (legendary Browns left tackle), who also has vanguard ability. I actually have several more cards with the same ability which makes running the ball a lot easier.
It’s also important to pay attention to which players you have on defense. My recommendation is to take advantage of any and all abilities that allow for big hits and lots of opportunities to cause fumbles.
The most notable thing all MUT users should know is to take full advantage of the new Vanguard ability. In layman’s terms and to paraphrase Electronic Arts, it’s a specific ability specifically for impact blocking. Approximately 80 percent of the time, this will work against most defenses. There’s always the elite 20 percent of users who will find a way to get past this new method.
What is Madden Ultimate Team?
Madden Ultimate Team is Madden’s most popular game mode. Madden users can buy player cards using in-game currency (MUT coins). They can also buy packs for some of the player cards using MUT coins or using a credit card. Packs sometimes contain elite players, including limited-time cards. Limited time cards are available in packs for a short period of time, normally 48 hours. Occasionally, the limited time cards are available for several days, even a week.
The idea of the ultimate team is to put the best team on the field and to use the players that best fit a user’s playing style. Ultimate Team also has player abilities such as X-factors and star abilities, like in the franchise. However, Ultimate Team features more abilities than the franchise, allowing users to be creative.
Team chemistry can be important, as some users prefer to build a “theme team” with their favorite NFL teams.
