The second half of the Futures League summer collegiate baseball schedule is under way. There are several members of the UMass Lowell River Hawks baseball team playing in this league. In part two of our tracking how they are doing this summer, we thought we would check in on their progress so far.
The Nashua Silver Knights have three members of this past spring River Hawk team on their roster. Relief Pitcher Andres Hulfachor has appeared in 13 games to date. His record is 0-2 with a 7.42 ERA. A three hit game vs Westfield on June 23, and a two hit game vs Vermont on July 13.

He is hitting. 231 (21-for-91) l with six home runs, 18 RBI, and three doubles. Hart has scored 20 runs and stolen eight bases. He will need to cut down on his strikeouts this fall. So far, Hart has 31 in those 91 plate appearances.
Jake LeFrancois, who did not see any action for the River Hawks pitching staff, is in Worcester playing for the Bravehearts. He has appeared in five games with two of them being starts. He has a 1-0 record with a 6.51 ERA. In 9.2 innings pitched, he has allowed 10 hits, and has 13 SO to 7 BB. His worst outing was his very first one back on June 11 vs New Britain. He went two innings, gave up five hits and four earned runs. He has been better since.
Jacob Jette is pitching for the Futures League Road Warriors. He has made six starts going 24 innings. He has allowed 21 hits, with 15 strikeouts and 9 walks. His worst performance came on June 25 vs New Britain where he went four innings giving up six hits, seven runs, six of them earned. He has gone at least four innings in five of the six starts. He has gone five innings twice.
