CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Day two of Boston College football’s preseason camp got underway under cloudy skies on Friday morning. The Eagles operated outside on the grass of Chamberlin Field early on before holding the majority of activities on the turf inside FIsh Field House.

First Song in Team Flex: California Breeze (Lil Baby)

Offensive Highlights: Christian Mahogany was at right guard leading the way for Pat Garwo III on play one during the first team period. Kye Robichaux was featured early on, running downhill between the tackles and bouncing to the outside. Tommy Castellanos rolled right and hit Lewis Bond for a deep gain between the coverage.

Defensive Highlights: Neto Okpala created a sack and a TFL. George Rooks added his first sack of camp. Linebacker Daveon Crouch flashed again with a TFL followed by a knocked down pass, pressuring QB, on back-to-back plays. The defensive front provided constant pressure all morning, particularly on the first team.

Third-Down, Tempo: Emmett Morehead converted quickly to Ryan O’Keefe in the flat. Joe Griffin caught a contested deep ball from Morehead down the right sideline. Morehead and Castellanos both took off up the middle on their feet to convert first downs. Linebacker Owen McGowan led a defensive swarm to stop a screen on third-and-five.
