LYNN, Mass. — Two members of the North Shore Navigators were named to the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) Weekly Honor Roll, it was announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Outfielder Stan DeMartinis III (Bentley) has provided a spark to the North Shore lineup since returning for a second summer on June 15 and earned the honor after posting hits in four of his six games last week. DeMartinis went 7-for-19 with a double, a triple, six RBI, seven runs scored and two stolen bases over that span. He posted his best game to begin the week, going 3-for-4 with a triple, three RBI and three runs scored in last Tuesday’s 11-inning loss to Mystic. For the season, DeMartinis had a team-leading .345 average and nine RBI in nine games entering this week.

Beverly native Brayden Clark (Salve Regina) continued his strong start to the summer with seven shutout innings in Sunday’s 3-0 win at Mystic. Clark allowed just two hits and three walks while striking out a pair of Schooners, becoming the second North Shore pitcher to post a pair of victories this summer. It was Clark’s second shutout in three starts, as he has allowed just two earned runs in seven total innings. His 1.06 ERA ranks 10th among qualifying pitchers across the NECBL.

North Shore has won three straight and four of its last five games, including back-to-back shutouts on the weekend against Valley and Coastal Division rival Mystic. The team plays at home Tuesday (6:35 p.m. vs. Sanford), Friday (7:05 p.m. vs. Martha’s Vineyard) and Sunday (5:05 p.m. vs. Newport).
