BRIGHTON, Mass. – No. 11 Boston College baseball came back from a five-run deficit with a seven-run sixth to beat Duke, 9-6, in front of a record crowd of 2,535 at the Harrington Athletics Village on Saturday afternoon. The win evened the weekend series as the Eagles improved to 24-10 overall and 9-8 in the ACC, while the Blue Devils dropped to 22-12 and 8-8.
A five-run top of the fourth put BC down, but the Eagles climbed back from a five-run deficit in the sixth with seven runs. The Eagles doubled three times in the inning; getting the first two runs on a double off the left field wall from sophomore third baseman Nick Wang (Newton, Mass.) and went in front on a two-run double past third by junior right fielder Travis Honeyman (Massapequa, N.Y.).
