EAST RUTHERFORD -There are several great matchups in week 14 of the NFL but Giants vs Eagles will be just a few notches above the others. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts continues to have a good chemistry with receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonte Smith. Everything is going right in Philadelphia.

On the other side, the New York Giants continue to succeed running the football as Saquon Barkley continues to have an impact. If he continues to avoid major injuries, his career will get back on track quickly. Unfortunately, Barkley suffered a neck injury and is doubtful to play.

The NFC East continues to be the shock of the NFL. This division is no longer the weak link of the NFL. Instead, it is the division that stands out. All four teams continue to impress. There is a slight chance that the entire NFC East will be in the playoffs.

Cincinnati Bengals (8-4) vs Cleveland Browns (5-7)

The “Battle of Ohio” is back! Cleveland looks to continue its recent dominance in this matchup as Quarterback Joe Burrow can’t lead the Bengals to a win over this team. Will that change this time?

Receiver Ja’Marr Chase is back which is great news for the Bengals. There is a sense of hope that Cincinnati can finally win one over the Browns. It’s been a few years since Cincinnati won a game against Cleveland.

The Browns defense gave us a glimpse of what happens when it finally goes all out. Granted, the Houston Texans are struggling to do anything right but perhaps the Browns defense is turning things around. It’s as if the return of quarterback DeShaun Watson invigorated the entire team. Now the entire Browns team is playing with the sort of fire and passion it should’ve played with the first half of the season. This team isn’t out of the playoff race and with one division loss, the Browns could have the edge should a tie scenario come into play. Head-to-head will matter too, and the Browns need an edge over Cincinnati.

Prediction

Browns 35 Bengals 28

Buffalo Bills (9-3) vs New York Jets (7-5)

The Bills and the Jets will have an epic clash in this AFC East rivalry game. The Jets won last time 20-17 on Nov. 6, so the Bills will surely play with more focus and determination.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen is number three in the league in passing yards (3,406), number two in passing touchdowns (25), and number three in quarterback rating (75.1). He is throwing a lot of interceptions though with 11 so far. Allen will need to improve his accuracy and limit the turnovers. He won’t get away with too many gambles against the Jets.

The Bills’ defense continues to be outstanding as it is number four in total defense behind San Francisco, Denver, and Dallas.

The Jets are number six in total defense so this may actually be a good, old-school defensive game.

Prediction

Bills 17 Jets 14
