NFC Top Dog: Is It Arizona, Green Bay, Dallas, or Tampa Bay?

There are four teams in the NFC that stand out as potential Super Bowl winners. The Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, and defending Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue their contest for NFC supremacy. Which of these teams will be the number one seed in the playoffs? Which of them has the best chance to win it all?

Last year, the Buccaneers had to get past the Green Bay Packers lead by veteran improvising quarterback Aaron Rodgers who is still a dual-threat at 37-years-old. Yes, he is still a “gunslinger” quarterback but he can still take off and run. It’s also a benefit to have DeVante Adams at receiver and Aaron Jones at running back. This trio continues to form one of the NFL’s most feared offenses.

The GOAT of all quarterbacks Tom Brady continues to have his way with defenses. Throwing to Mike Evans, Antonio Brown, Robert Gronkowski, and Chris Godwin definitely contribute to his high level of success but take nothing away from the GOAT.

For all the harsh jokes about Dallas Cowboys fans’ constant Super Bowl predictions regarding their favorite team, this could be the year that Dallas advances to its first final showdown in years. This team is more than just an offensive juggernaut lead by Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Cee Dee Lamb, Amari Cooper, and Michael Gallup. This team is developing an intimating defense in no small part due to the exceptional playmaking abilities of rookie linebacker Micah Parsons and veteran cornerback Trevon Diggs. It’s time to respect this team and put it in the conversation of the possible Super Bowl winners for 2021.

Aside from the defending Super Bowl Champion and the sudden rising Dallas Cowboys, there is still an undefeated team in the NFL. The current NFC leader Arizona Cardinals have been nothing short of amazing. It looks like former Houston Texans defensive guru J.J. Watt signed with the right team. Quarterback Kyler Murray is definitely off to a hot start as well and DeAndre Hopkins is a big reason for that. If the Cardinals can steal one on the road without their Head Coach, it will play a huge role in what could be a 17-0 team in the NFL’s first-ever 17 game season.

Prediction:

As crazy as it sounds, the Dallas Cowboys actually have the best overall chance of making a Super Bowl run from this conference. This team has the total package but faces stiff competition especially from Arizona and Tampa Bay. A defending Super Bowl Champion rarely wins two in a row but I’d any quarterback can make it happen, it’s Tom Brady. It’s also hard to discount the Green Bay Packers in this conversation.
