Texas Southern University Athletics will partner with Cricket Wireless

WHAT: Cricket Wireless is teaming up with Texas Southern University to provide the Pilgrim Day Care Center with $2500 for books and supplies, giving its students something to smile about as the pandemic continues to impact learning and health of young students. The mission of the Pilgrim Day Care Center is to promote educational goals and objectives that ensure love and protection for young children in a comprehensive child development program.

Cricket Wireless is one of the primary sponsors of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). The partnership between Cricket Wireless and the (SWAC) focuses on establishing meaningful community initiatives within the (SWAC) footprint. Specifically, these initiatives will look to activate and amplify grassroots efforts, such as youth outreach and mentoring programs, that are available to student-athletes and administrators from across the conference.
