Boston College Football Holds Annual Pro Day Friday

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College football team held its annual Pro Day inside Fish Field House on Friday. A total of 35 NFL personnel attended the event, including Miami Dolphins head coach and former Boston College standout linebacker Brian Flores.

A total of 12 former Eagles participated in Pro Day, highlighted by NFL Scouting Combine invitees Hunter Long and Isaiah McDuffieMax Richardson and Max Roberts rounded out the representation from the 2020 Boston College football team.

The day started for the group in the weight room inside Fish Field House with the bench press. Roberts led the way with 28 reps, followed by 25 for McDuffie and 24 for Richardson. Long did not participate in the bench press portion of Pro Day.

Roberts’ vertical jump of 36.5 inches took top honors, followed by Richardson’s 34.0-inch jump. Long and McDuffie both checked in with vertical jumps of 32.5 inches.

The broad jump was next and again Roberts was the lead performer at 10’3″. Long was next up at 10’2″ followed by McDuffie and Richardson at 10’1″.

In the 40-yard dash, McDuffie finished with the top times running a 4.59 and 4.61. Long moved extremely well also, running a 4.63 and 4.69. Richardson checked in with a 4.82 and 4.88 40-yard dash while Roberts ran a 4.87 in both runs.

In the 20-yard shuttle, Richardson’s time of 4.24 led the way. McDuffie finished with a time of 4.41, followed by Long at 4.42 and Roberts’ 4.50.

The on-field events finished with the three-cone drill as Richardson’s time of 7.20 was first. McDuffie checked in right behind at 7.26, followed by Long’s 7.41 and Roberts’ 7.56.
