Welcome to Against All Odds: NCAA/NFL Picks! From the opening weekend of the NCAA football season through Super Bowl LIV, Mike Drakulich (PSN), the man behind Pittsburgh SportsNation, takes on his father, Michael J. Drakulich (MJD), in picking NCAA and NFL games against the Vegas line.

Mike Drakulich covers both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pitt Panthers during the season for NGSCSports.com!

To appease the taste buds of Pittsburgh’s local coverage area, Pitt, Penn State, and West Virginia, when they are playing, will always be on the docket among the NCAA games chosen, as will the Pittsburgh Steelers for NFL games.

Once Bowl Season arrives, we’ll bring you EVERY Bowl game and then continue throughout the conclusion of the NFL Playoffs.

Itchy vs Scratchy. Black Spy vs White Spy. Cheers vs Gary’s Old Towne Tavern. History is full of rivalries, but none are better than father vs son! Who will rise above the other this season and become the 2019-20 Against All Odds Champion?

After three weeks of treading water, yours truly finally got it going last week with a 7-3 record. Poor dad went 5-5 yet again, falling four games back of me in the overall standings. I am now 67-53, with dad right there at 63-57.

Against All Odds: NCAA/NFL Picks Week 13

Lines as of 11/20/2019

NCAA Football

Saturday, November 23rd

#22 Oklahoma State Cowboys (7-3) at West Virginia Mountaineers (4-6)

Game Time: Noon at Mountaineer Field, Morgantown, WV.

Line: Oklahoma State -7.5

Pick: PSN: Oklahoma State | MJD: Oklahoma State

Good ‘ole WVU has cost me four straight loses now. They won’t make it five. OSU rolls and all couches will be safe Saturday evening in Morgantown.

#9 Penn State Nittany Lions (9-1) at #2 Ohio State Buckeyes (10-0)

Game Time: Noon at Ohio Stadium, Columbus, OH.

Line: Ohio State -19.5

Pick: PSN: Ohio State | MJD: Ohio State

Remember that loss in Minnesota, Nittany Lions fans? That will seem like a soothing massage compared to what is coming this Saturday afternoon.

#15 Michigan Wolverines (8-2) at Indiana Hoosiers (7-3)

Game Time: 3:30 p.m. at Memorial Stadium, Bloomington, IN.

Line: Michigan -7.5

Pick: PSN: Michigan | MJD: Michigan

The Wolverines have found their footing since the 2nd half of the Penn State game. The way they are going, they could send shockwaves throughout college football when they meet up with their rivals in Ohio State in two weeks. Like the Joker, we like chaos!

Pitt Panthers (7-3) at #25 Virginia Tech Hokies (7-3)

Game Time: 3:30 pm at Lane Stadium, Blacksburg, VA.

Line: Virginia Tech -3.5

Pick: PSN: Pitt | MJD: Pitt

Pitt and VaTech meet with ACC Coastal Title aspirations on the line. Pitt needs to take care of the Hokies, but leave just enough in the tank for that same team to go and take care of Virginia the following Friday night. If that happens, Pitt will play Boston College for the right to meet Clemson for the 2nd year in a row in the ACC Championship. Pitt’s offense woke up in a big way against UNC. If that continues, they will take care of business in Blacksburg.

Texas A&M Aggies (7-3) at #4 Georgia Bulldogs (9-1)

Game Time: 3:30 pm at Sanford Stadium, Athens, GA.

Line: Georgia -13.5

Pick: PSN: Georgia | MJD: Georgia

Georgia is playing for Show Points, so they should be firing on all cylinders when they take on the Aggies at home. No time for a slip up now with so much on the line.

NFL

Sunday, November 24th

Pittsburgh Steelers (5-5) at Cincinnati Bengals (0-10)

Game Time: 1:00 pm at Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati, OH.

Line: Pittsburgh -7.5

Pick: PSN: Pittsburgh  | MJD: Cincinnati

The wounded Steelers limp into Cincinnati to face the one team they should be able to beat with the depleted line-up they’ll have this game.

Carolina Panthers (5-5) at New Orleans Saints (8-2)

Game Time: 1:00 pm at Superdome, New Orleans, LA.

Line: New Orleans -9.5

Pick: PSN: New Orleans | MJD: New Orleans

Two teams going in opposite directions, despite the Panthers having the league’s most electric running back in Christian McCaffrey.

Oakland Raiders (6-4) at NY Jets (3-7)

Game Time: 1:00 pm at Met-Life Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ.

Line: Oakland -2.5

Pick: PSN: Oakland | MJD: NY Jets

Oakland looks to amazingly keep pace with Kansas City for the AFC West title. What were the odds of that happening after the AB fiasco?

Detroit Lions (3-6-1) at Washington Redskins (1-9)

Game Time: 1:00 pm at FedEx Field, Landover, MD.

Line: Detroit -3.5

Pick: PSN: Detroit | MJD: Detroit

The Lions will be minus Matt Stafford, but Jeff Driskel has played well in his absence, and will continue to do so against the pathetic Redskins.

Dallas Cowboys (6-4) at New England Patriots (9-1)

Game Time: 4:25 pm at Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, MA.

Line: New England -6.5

Pick: PSN: Dallas | MJD: New England

This could be a shootout, but in the end, Dallas will make the cover, but lose the game. Tom Brady and the Patriots never lose at home.

PSN: Last Week: 7-3 | Overall: 67-53  —   .558
