DALLAS, TEXAS – Boston College cornerback Kamrin Moore was selected with the 189th pick in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft Saturday. Moore is the third BC player taken in the 2018 NFL Draft and the second cornerback. Defensive end Harold Landry was picked in the second round by the Tennessee Titans while the Denver Broncos grabbed Isaac Yiadom in the third round.
Four Boston College defensive backs have now been selected over the last three NFL Drafts.
“Kamrin embodies so much of what we value in a football player: he is smart, tough and dependable,” said Boston College head coach Steve Addazio. “The New Orleans Saints are getting someone who just loves to play the game and is an ultra-competitor.”

Moore is the 14th player drafted during the Addazio era at Boston College. Moore is the 213th player in Boston College history to be selected in the NFL or AFL Draft.
Boston College has now had multiple players selected in five consecutive NFL Drafts, including three drafts with three or more players selected.
Moore, who was selected a captain by his teammates prior to the 2017 season, received the Coaches’ Award, decided upon by head coach Steve Addazio and his staff. The Coaches’ Award is given to the player who exemplifies the coaching staff’s attitude toward the game; a performer whose style of play reflects what has been taught and sometimes what simply cannot be taught; this is a person with great football instincts. The Maryland native had his productive BC career cut short due to the injury. Moore played in 44 career games with 31 career starts and had started 23 consecutive games prior to his injury.
As a senior, Moore started 10 games and totaled 50 tackles and nine passes defended. He is the first BC player drafted by the Saints since offensive guard Steve Trapilo in the 1987 NFL Draft.
