Week seven arrives with plenty of important football across Pinellas County. Several teams face district opponents, while others take on key non-district tests. The schedule also features a few intriguing matchups between teams with very different records. With only a few regular-season games remaining, every Friday night matters. Here is a look at the Pinellas County games scheduled for Week 7.
Keswick Christian at Taylor — 6 p.m.
Keswick Christian enters Week 7 with a 3-1 record. The Crusaders head to Taylor for a 6 p.m. kickoff. Keswick has put together a strong start this season. Meanwhile, Taylor enters the matchup at 0-3. This game gives Keswick another chance to build momentum. The Crusaders also can continue pushing toward a strong finish.
Northeast at Parkridge Christian — 6:30 p.m.
Northeast travels to Parkridge Christian for an early Friday matchup. The Vikings enter the game at 0-5 after dropping their first five contests. Northeast most recently lost 41-0 against Clearwater. Parkridge Christian also enters the matchup looking for momentum. The game gives Northeast an opportunity to reset after a difficult stretch.
Sports Leadership & Management at Lakeside Christian — 7 p.m.
Lakeside Christian hosts Sports Leadership & Management at 7 p.m. This matchup carries district importance for both teams. Sports Leadership & Management enters at 5-1, while Lakeside Christian sits at 4-2. The matchup should provide an interesting contrast in styles. Both teams have already shown enough to make this one worth watching. Lakeside will have home-field advantage in Clearwater. However, Sports Leadership & Management brings an impressive record into the game.
Seminole at Pinellas Park — 7 p.m.
This game gives Pinellas Park one of its biggest challenges of Week 7. Seminole enters at 3-2 after losing two straight games. The Warhawks dropped a 49-16 decision to Gibbs in their last outing. Pinellas Park enters at 2-3. The Patriots most recently lost 24-13 to St. Petersburg. Seminole averages 330 total yards per game. Pinellas Park averages 200.3 yards per contest. That production gap could make offensive consistency important. Still, Pinellas Park will have the home crowd behind it.
Clearwater Central Catholic at Cardinal Mooney — 7 p.m.
Clearwater Central Catholic faces one of the biggest tests on the Pinellas schedule. The Marauders travel to Sarasota to face Cardinal Mooney. CCC enters the game with a perfect 5-0 record. Cardinal Mooney enters at 4-1. The matchup also carries district implications. CCC has already defeated several quality opponents this season. The Marauders now get a chance to make another statement against Cardinal Mooney. This should be one of the week’s most closely watched games involving a Pinellas team.

Calvary Christian at Northside Christian — 7 p.m.
Calvary Christian travels to St. Petersburg to face Northside Christian. The Warriors enter at 4-1. Northside Christian enters the matchup at 1-5. Calvary has played strong football throughout the season. Meanwhile, Northside needs a strong performance to change its momentum. The game also gives Northside a chance to play at home. Calvary, however, enters with the stronger record.
Largo at Dunedin — 7:30 p.m.
Largo heads to Dunedin for one of the county’s most interesting non-district games. The Packers enter at 4-2 after starting the season with four straight victories. Largo has dropped its last two games against Clearwater and Gaither. Dunedin enters at 1-4 after losing four of its first five games. Largo averages 352.2 total yards per game. Dunedin averages 168.8 yards. The numbers favor Largo, but Dunedin gets a home game. The Falcons will look to make this matchup competitive early.
Southeast at Osceola — 7:30 p.m.
Osceola welcomes Southeast for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff. The Warriors enter at 1-4. Southeast enters the matchup at 0-5. Osceola has dealt with several challenges after last year’s district championship season. The Warriors graduated 25 players from that team. Now, they get another opportunity to build confidence. Southeast will look for its first victory of the season.
St. Petersburg at Lakewood — 7:30 p.m.
This game brings together two St. Petersburg programs. St. Petersburg enters with a 3-2 record. Lakewood enters at 2-3. Both teams need this game as the season moves toward its final stretch. St. Petersburg already owns three victories this season. Lakewood, meanwhile, has shown flashes during its first five games. The matchup should provide another important test for both programs.
Boca Ciega at South Lake — 7:30 p.m.
Boca Ciega travels to Groveland for a matchup with South Lake. The Pirates enter at 3-2. South Lake enters at 1-4. Boca Ciega has already shown improvement from last season. The Pirates also have a district matchup ahead at Tampa Catholic. This game gives Boca Ciega another opportunity to build momentum. South Lake will try to protect its home field and create some momentum of its own.
Indian Rocks Christian at Mount Dora Christian Academy — 7:30 p.m.
Indian Rocks Christian travels to Mount Dora Christian Academy. The Golden Eagles enter at 2-4. Mount Dora Christian Academy enters at 4-1. That record difference makes this another challenging road assignment for a Pinellas team. Indian Rocks Christian will need to play a clean game on both sides. Mount Dora Christian Academy has already established itself as a tough opponent. The Golden Eagles can use this matchup to build confidence heading into the final weeks.
St. Petersburg Catholic at Zephyrhills Christian Academy — 7:30 p.m.
St. Petersburg Catholic closes the Pinellas Week 7 schedule with a road game. The Barons enter at 2-3. Zephyrhills Christian Academy enters at 1-4. St. Petersburg Catholic has shown enough this season to make this an important opportunity. The Barons can move above .500 with another victory. Zephyrhills Christian Academy will look to defend its home field. Both teams enter needing a strong performance.
Week 7 sets up an important stretch
Pinellas County enters Week 7 with several teams facing important tests. CCC puts its unbeaten record on the line against Cardinal Mooney. Meanwhile, Seminole and Pinellas Park meet in an intriguing local matchup. Largo and Dunedin also meet with both teams looking to change their recent momentum. Several other programs face opponents with similar records. Those games could shape the final weeks of the regular season. Most importantly, the schedule shows how quickly the season moves. Teams have limited opportunities left to build momentum. For Pinellas County football, Week 7 should provide another important Friday night.
