This is about Ralph Garcia, the man who leads this stellar sports blog behemoth. This is about Kyle Nash, the man with the voice for radio. This is about Sammy Sportface, the man who finds himself befuddled.
On this sports blog, you have found your answers to life’s toughest questions such as whether Sammy Sportface is real or fake, whether Ralph Garcia is Kyle Nash, and whether Kyle Nash is Steve Nash.
Steve Nash could have been a professional soccer player. Instead, he went into the NBA and won two MVP awards. The combination of these two facts makes him the second best athlete in Canadian history.
The best was the guy who was named the MVP of the NHL his first eight seasons in the league: the Great Gretzky. You could make the case that Gretzky was better at his sport than Michael Jordan was at basketball. Statistically, the Great One dominated his league more than Jordan did his. The Canadian phenom couldn’t jump as high as His Airness, but his hand-eye coordination and instincts for his sport were at least as good as, and maybe better than Michael’s.
Think of it this way. Most people agree Jordan is the best hooper ever but sometimes people suggest some others may have been nearly as well such as LeBron, Kobe, and Larry Bird. By contrast, no one ever disputes that Gretzky was the greatest hockey player of all time. There he stands at the top of the mountain, and everyone else is looking up from below.
Cats like Ralph Garcia and Kyle Nash agree with this argument because they always guzzle the Sammy Sportface Kook-Aid.
And you say yes, but Sammy Sportface does not know.
