The 2025 NBA trade deadline passed at 3 PM EST on Thursday and will go down as one of the craziest in league history. The week started with one of the wildest trades in NBA history: the Dallas Mavericks traded superstar guard Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers for a package that included Anthony Davis.
Multiple big names would be traded during the week, including De’Aaron Fox going to the Spurs, Zach Lavine going to the Kings, Jimmy Butler going to the Warriors, and Brandon Ingram going to the Raptors. At the same time, several NBA teams and players that were expected to make moves or be moved stood pat.
