Tikey Hayes ran for 176 yards and three touchdowns as the Aliquippa Quips took down the Trinity Hillers 34-14 in the Quarterfinals of the Class 4A playoffs. Quaterback Marques Council, Jr. had 147 yards passing and two touchdown passes.
Next up is the semifinals and the #4 Quips (7-2) will take on the #1 Thomas Jefferson Jaguars (11-0) this Friday night at Chartiers Valley High School. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM.
Winner will advance to the Class 4A Championship at Norwin High School, on Saturday, November 16th at 12:05 PM.
