Aliquippa Quips Report

WPIAL Championships (20) | PIAA Championships (5)

September 10th, 2021 was the last date that witnessed the Aliquippa Quips (2-1) lose a regular season game, that being to Central Valley.

Last Friday, it was Penn Hills who snapped both that 27-game regular season streak, and a 16 straight overall, by defeating the Quips 21-13.

To the Quips credit, they were without star running back Tikey Hayes, who missed his 2nd straight game, but it was the lack of execution and mistakes that kept Aliquippa from coming back from a 21-0 deficit.

This week, Aliquippa looks to get back on track, and will host undefeated New Castle (4-0) at The Pit at Heinz Field.

Kickoff is at 7:00 PM.
