DETROIT – When the 2024 NFL Draft starts, one wide receiver will likely be off the board early. Marvin Harrison Junior, son of legendary Indianapolis Colts receiver Marvin Harrison will likely get the call during the first three picks of the first round. Just like his dad, he’s one of the top-tier prospects as a route runner. He’s possibly faster than his dad and he’s four inches taller.

Harrison Junior looks like a cross between his dad and Dallas Cowboys legend Michael Irvin. The way he plays with that speed and elusiveness makes look like he’s both a route-running receiver and a playmaking receiver. He is a pretty good deep-threat receiver too at times but is great in short-passing situations when a team needs a reliable receiver who is consistent like a Tight End. He’s not big and bulky like a Tight End but he’s equally as reliable.

In terms of success, we can’t say he’s going to pass up receivers like his dad and some of the other greats like Reggie Wayne (Harrison’s teammate in Indianapolis), Packers legend Greg Jennings, Vikings/Patriots legend Randy Moss (who was arguably the best receiver to ever play the game), and San Francisco 49ers legend Jerry Rice. The potential is there to be among those big names at some point.

Harrison played for the Colts from 1996-2008. He caught 1,102 passes for 14,580 yards and 128 touchdowns. Those are lofty numbers to try to surpass. He was the 19th overall selection in the 1996 draft.

The not-so-obvious prospect to pay attention to who’s under the radar is running back Frank Gore Junior. His ball-carrying vision is just out of this world. He knows exactly how to break down a defense and turn on the jets when he’s in open space. He doesn’t have the greatest speed but he has outstanding acceleration and elusiveness. His ability to evade tackles will make him a potential draft steal in the final rounds should he fall that far.

Gore Junior’s ability to read defenses and recognize play calls will make many general managers want to select him. He shows excellent patience when following his blockers. He shows how much he trusts his teammates to get the job done.

He’s the son of 49ers legendary running back Frank Gore. Gore rushed for 16,000 yards and 81 touchdowns in his career. Gore played for the San Francisco 49ers, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills New York Jets.
