Read Time:2 Minute, 27 Second

EAST RUTHERFORD – The Baltimore Ravens lead the AFC North with a 3-2 record while the New York Giants also have a 3-2 record against all odds. The Giants are one of the best surprises in the NFL after a few years of struggling. This game has a game of the week feel to it and should be a fun game that probably should be on primetime television. MetLife Stadium will host this vital afternoon game. Will Lamar Jackson show his dual-threat ability once again? Are the Giants ready for an “upset”? The Giants feature a top-running game once again.

After missing many games for multiple seasons, Giants running back Saquon Barkley is fully healthy after one month of football. Hopefully, that’s not a jinx but for the moment, it’s great to see him playing and being the big-time playmaker once more. In fact, Barkley is number two in the league in rushing yards with 533 and tied for fifth in the NFL in rushing touchdowns with three. Barkley is number three in the league in rushing attempts with 97. Chances are between Jackson’s dual-threat ability and Barkley’s big-time playmaking ability, this game will be a “battle of the run”.

Prediction:

Ravens 28 Giants 21

Other top games:

New York Jets (3-2) at Green Bay Packers (3-2)

The Giants and Bills aren’t the only teams in New York making noise. Against all odds, the Jets are making fans and experts think twice before any predictions of a losing season. This is a “don’t doubt me” kind of team that everyone should take seriously. This young core of players, particularly on offense, is making heads turn in their direction to start paying attention. The Jets are commanding respect and it’s time to give this time some well-earned respect.

On the other hand, the Packers aren’t quite the same without DeVante Adams. The offense under quarterback Aaron Rodgers is still looking for its identity. The Packers receivers went through a lot of roster changes with rookies Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson. Will things finally go the Packers’ way or will the J-E-T-S steal one on the road?

Prediction

Jets 28 Packers 17

Kansas City Chiefs (4-1) vs Buffalo Bills (4-1)

Many would call this the true “game of the week” but that would be all too easy. We’ll give the Chiefs and Bills a well-deserved honorable mention though. This game features two NFL offenses that can win against any defense thrown at them. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are one the best dynamic duos in the league while the Bills have the ultimate triple threat with quarterback Josh Allen, receiver Stefon Diggs, and receiver Gabriel Davis. The Bills also feature one of the best defenses in the league again which is no shock at all.

Prediction:

Bills 31 Chiefs 24
