Thursday, January 11th saw the NBA release their second fan voting returns for the 2024 All-Star Game set for next month. There have not been many changes in the voting since the first returns were released. In the West frontcourt, LeBron James (who leads all Western Conference players), Nikola Jokic, and Kevin Durant are the top vote-getters. In the backcourt, Luka Doncic and Stephen Curry remain the top two vote-getters. As of right now, the five starters remain the same as the first returns with:
- LeBron James (LAL)
- Nikola Jokic (DEN)
- Kevin Durant (PHX)
- Luka Doncic (DAL)
- Stephen Curry (GSW)
In the East frontcourt, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, and Jayson Tatum remain the top vote-getters while Tyrese Haliburton remains the top vote-getter for guards. Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young has jumped Bucks guard Damian Lillard in the second return, with the current East starters being:
- Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL)
- Joel Embiid (PHI)
- Jayson Tatum (BOS)
- Tyrese Haliburton (IND)
- Trae Young (ATL)
A few players in both conferences have jumped into the top 10 vote-getters following the release of the second fan vote returns. In the West, Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant jumped into the top 10 in his short time returning to the court before his season-ending shoulder injury. Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker has also jumped into the top 10 guard vote-getters. In the East, Knicks big man Julius Randle has jumped into the top 10 frontcourt vote-getters after a great week for New York.
