TAMPA BAY- The NFL Season will kick off in about a month. It’s never too early to fantasize about potential playoff scenarios. How about the possibility of two of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time facing off in the NFC Championship for what could be their final showdown against each other? Will we see Tom Brady’s Buccaneers go against Drew Brees’ Saints?
Regardless of what your favorite team is, the potential of such a dynamic storybook ending to the NFC playoffs should be on your wishlist. The Six-Time Super Bowl Champion quarterback going up against one of the NFL’s all-time passing leaders would be a dream come true. It could also be the final time these two quarterbacks play against each other. This also means that everyone should relish the two regular-season matchups. Great things come to an end and we are approaching the end of two amazing, NFL Hall-of-Fame careers.
So, how about one last time? How about one last great moment when everyone looks back on it in their old age, they can see “I witnessed greatness on that cold January night”? If these two quarterbacks aren’t enough to get your attention, how about two dynamic offenses that have the ultimate playmakers such as Mike Evans, Robert Gronkowski, O.J. Howard, Ronald Jones, Chris Godwin, Michael Thomas, and Alvin Kamara? You want to talk about a potential record-setting night of offenses, this would be it right here. Why not start 2021 on such a wonderful note? After everything that happened this year, we need something amazing to look forward to next year. How about one last time of seeing Brady against Brees assuming one of them retires?
The NFL is still going to have to see if they are going to be able to play. The coronavirus is still dictating how life is being lived, but this is the NFL. I can’t see too much getting in the way of playing games and if so, I and the rest of the world will look forward to this possible matchup. Buccaneers vs Saints for the right to play in the Super Bowl.
