Week Six: Aliquippa Quips (4-2) vs Blackhawk Cougars (3-4), 7:00 PM
Marques Council returned to action and threw two touchdown passes to Qa’lil Goode, as the Quips defeated West Allegheny 19-7.
This week Aliquippa (4-2) will host the Blackhawk Cougars (3-4) at The Pit at Heinz Field.
Council has now thrown for 983 yards with nine touchdowns and four interceptions. He’s also rushed for 190 yards.
Josh Lay leads the team with 22 catches for 405 yards and one touchdown. Goode is 2nd on the team with 17 receptions for 370 yards and six touchdowns.
J.J. Work has rushed for 357 yards and four touchdowns.
Blackhawk’s quarterback Jack Chevalier has 339 yards passing, with no touchdowns and four interceptions.
Brady Mayer is the leading receiver with 19 catches for 217 yards.
Brayden McCarthy has rushed for 1,134 yards, which is 2nd in the WPIAL, and has scored 15 touchdowns.
