With all that\u2019s engulfing the world right now, The Baby Boomer Brotherhood needs to dial up its enthusiasm, energy level, and raise expectations for itself and everyone else.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are society\u2019s leaders. It\u2019s our moment.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s high time we all take these five actions:<\/span><\/p>\n

Action One:<\/b> Embrace the mindset to take massive action now. Not tomorrow. Not the next day. Not ten minutes from now. Now.<\/span><\/p>\n

By massive action, what do we mean? Give Sammy Sportface the floor so he can elaborate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Volunteer your services. Give what you have to give. Share your talents. Go to your local Rotary Club. Tell them you are there to share all you\u2019ve got. Offer your muscles, brainpower, and mature perspective on life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Call up the Knights of Columbus in your areas. And the Salvation Army. And the Kiwanis Clubs. Call them all. Visit them all. Show up at their doors. Give them the clothes off your back and legs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dance in the streets. Sing from your front porch. Raise your arms and show your sweaty underarm pits.<\/span><\/p>\n

Action Two: <\/b>Go to the supermarket and buy every sugar cereal they offer: Lucky Charms, Sugar Pops, Super Sugar Crisp, Quisp, Boo Berry, Count Cholula, Captain Crunch, Frosted Flakes, Frosted Mini-Wheats, Honeycomb, Cocoa Puffs, Trix, Fruit Loops, Golden Grahams, Cocoa Crispies. Get all of them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Go home. Eat them all. Celebrate your cool self.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Then burp.<\/span><\/p>\n

Action Three:<\/b> Go to the Sammy Sportface Baby Boomer Brotherhood Facebook Group Page. Whale on every one of the blogs posted there \u2013 and there are many. Vent what you really think. Unload your true thoughts. We must lead this world to truth. Our sworn enemy is lying.<\/span><\/p>\n

Do this as an intellectual exercise. Stretch your brain tissues. Get that noggin\u2019 cranking. Scorch Sportface. He deserves it. Everybody thinks so.<\/span><\/p>\n

Action Four:<\/b> Take every book in your house and put them in a tall pile on your desk. All of them including those that don\u2019t belong to you but your wife or kids or some you still have under your bed overdue at your library.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pile all of them up. Start reading the first book on page 1. Don\u2019t skip any pages or paragraphs or books. Read all of them. Then write a short blog capturing the key ideas of all of them. Condense it all into one blog, everything you learn from what you read. And post that summary on the Sammy Sportface Baby Boomer Brotherhood Facebook Group Page.<\/span><\/p>\n

This project will take you several months. Keep at it. You have time. Do all of this. Right now.<\/span><\/p>\n

No one will read your blog. But don\u2019t worry about it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Action Five:<\/b> Take an inventory of your life. Get out a notebook. Start from your first memory. Write that down. Then write down your second memory. Don\u2019t forget anything. Remember your whole life, every detail, and write all of them down. Keep writing. Don\u2019t stop until you\u2019ve got everything on the paper. If you\u2019re concerned you forgot something, think hard. Strain your brain.<\/span><\/p>\n

Remember everything. Give us details we don\u2019t care about. Give us everything. Take massive recollective action.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bore us out of our skulls.<\/span><\/p>\n

Final Thoughts<\/b><\/p>\n

Your time is now. Our time is now. We must strive for greatness. We are nothing if not extraordinary doers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
