The United States Men’s basketball Olympic team is set on winning another gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics. There is no doubt that the U.S.A is the favorite to win it all due to the all-star talent they contain from the starting unit to the bench players. Leading this squad into battle is the notorious Kevin Durant. He has proven to be a superstar in the NBA and whenever he plays for the U.S. Now, he shows the world once again how deranged he can be on the basketball court.

After putting on a terrific performance against the Czech Republic, he dropped 23 points on 8/11 field goals made which put him at 73% shooting for the night. He additionally added eight rebounds and six assists to help U.S.A seal their second win in a row, 119-84, in the group pool where it now leaves them going into the Quarterfinals of these Olympics.

Durant surpassed Carmelo Anthony for the all-time leader in scoring for the U.S Men’s Olympic basketball team. Anthony has 336 points in his Olympic career while Kevin is sitting with 354 points in his Olympic career, which is not over with. Durant has an amazing Olympic career already with a record of 41-2 adding on three gold medals to his resume. He is easily one of the greatest basketball players to ever put on the U.S.A uniform for the Olympics.

Now, Team U.S.A cannot lose any game moving forward because it is win or go home at this point. There are some tough teams that we might play against like France, Australia, Nigeria, Spain, Argentina, etc. U.S.A must be aggressive, intelligent, thoughtful, and quick on their feet to gain another gold medal for our country!
