* The Steelers also signed 10 players to the Practice Squad. They are: RB Josh Harris, TE Rob Branchflower, WR’s C.J. Goodwin and Derek Moye, T Alejendro Villenueva, DB’s Shaquille Richardson and Ross Ventrone, DL’s Josh Mauro and Nick Williams, and LB Howard Jones.

* QB Landry Jones made the squad despite a less than average preseason and Training Camp. One wonders if Terrelle Pryor, cut by Seattle, or perhaps a Connor Shaw, who was a cut by the Browns, will get some interest from the Steelers coaching staff.

* WR Martavis Bryant suffered a shoulder sprain in the final preseason game against Carolina, but should be alright, according to several sources.
